I offer 1-to-1 mentoring to poets of all levels of experience, as well as editing / critical feedback, and further freelance work in reading, commissions, and project management.

What I Do

  • 1-to-1 Mentoring

Mentoring looks different for everyone, and can include editorial input, confidence-building, skills development, or gaining industry knowledge.

My own approach prioritises empowerment, networking, project planning and support.

Contact me via the form below to discuss your ideas!

  • Poetry Editing & Feedback

I offer in-depth editing suggestions & feedback, depending on what you are looking for with your project.

Any editorial work will include a chat at the beginning & end of the timeline to meet your needs, as well as detailed annotations and suggestions based on the concepts and themes of your own work.

  • Freelance Projects, Reading & Commissions

My decade of combined experience in arts and education means that I am very familiar with UK/ROI poetry as writer, reader, tutor, editor, and project manager.

I have high-quality writing and copy-editing skills, as well as experience in poetry shortlisting and panel-judging.

I have a keen interest in pursuing and embedding projects with values of equity, inclusion and accessibility.

Testimonials

  • Éadaoín demonstrated complete understanding of any accessibility needs that I had, and adjusted accordingly, which made the process of requesting feedback very straightforward. The feedback provided by them went beyond my expectations, as they offered not only granular suggestions, but also general feedback that I can apply to my writing, alongside some wonderful poetry recommendations!

  • Through Re·creation I've had feedback on my poem from Mary Jean Chan, a creation session from Dean Atta, a 1-1 mentoring session with Éadaoín Lynch and the chance to make connections with a bunch of brilliant, queer poets ... It basically doesn't get better this. Working with Re·creation has been such a supportive, collaborative, safe and welcoming project - hats off to the editors for making it this way. And thank you to the editors for building a platform for lesser-known poets alongside well-known ones - it makes for a great, inclusive project and a really vibrant anthology.

  • [Through 1-to-1 mentorship] I felt more confident in the highs and lows of my practice. I took time to appreciate my achievements. I gave myself a break and freed myself up to work on new things. I gave myself permission to play.

  • Being part of the making of the Re·creation anthology has been very wholesome and moving to me. I particularly enjoyed the workshops and mentoring sessions with the editors and other renowned poets/contributors (their poems are also in this anthology) … Can’t thank enough the care and love both editors have for this lovely anthology.

  • [1-to-1 mentorship] was really encouraging, it's always good being reminded that we should go on submitting. It also helped getting to know about some magazines interested in the kind of poetry I write.
